What I do at O.R. Colan Associates (ORC)
- set up and maintain all right-of-way files, preparation and production of easements and other documents within approved system
- review documents in order to prepare reports involving ownership information, status of acquisition processes, special conditions to field crews, contacts related to land rights with landowners, payments made, damage settlements, and other pertinent data.
Who am I?
Just to give you a little background on me, I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Government and a minor in Business, and then went on to graduate from Texas Tech University School of Law.
After law school, I moved into the right-of-way industry as a landman and have worked on both the private and public sides of the industry. That experience eventually led me into the management side of right of way, and now I oversee our Document Specialist team and support our project operations here at ORC.
