Dawn Porter

 I serve as Utilities Director at ORC, where I lead our utilities team and support the delivery and growth of right-of-way and land services for utility clients. My responsibilities include project oversight, resource and staffing strategy, operational planning, team development, quality and accountability, and supporting our project managers and teams as they take on increasingly complex work. 

I would recommend ORC to someone who wants an opportunity to grow while doing meaningful work. We are continuing to expand, which creates opportunities for people who are willing to learn, take ownership, and contribute beyond their immediate responsibilities. I also appreciate that we are actively investing in better processes, technology, training, and employee development as the company grows. 

My background is in utility right-of-way and project leadership. Over time, my role has grown from focusing on successful project execution to building teams, developing leaders, improving how we operate, and planning for future growth. What motivates me most is seeing people develop their skills and confidence while delivering work our clients can depend on.
