Holly Demirel

I am a Project Manager supporting electric utility and right-of-way projects. I oversee project planning and execution, schedules, budgets, land and easement acquisition, title activities, stakeholder coordination, and project controls. I work closely with clients, project teams, right-of-way and title professionals to identify risks, resolve issues, maintain accountability, and keep projects moving forward.

I would recommend ORC to someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, wants opportunities to grow, and values being part of a collaborative team. There are opportunities to learn different aspects of the right-of-way industry, take on additional responsibility, and develop professionally. I especially appreciate the people I work with and the willingness across the organization to share knowledge and support one another.

My background includes project management, operations, team leadership, and client service. Throughout my career, I have developed a strong ability to manage competing priorities, solve problems, communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, and keep complex work moving forward. I joined ORC with transferable management and operational experience and have continued expanding my knowledge of the right-of-way and utility industry. I enjoy bringing structure to complex projects, developing strong teams, and finding practical solutions that support both our clients and the people doing the work.

Be proactive, communicate well, and ask questions. Right-of-way work involves a lot of moving pieces, so organization and attention to detail are extremely important. Take advantage of the training and resources available, learn from the people around you, and don't be afraid to take initiative. Reliability and follow-through go a long way in this industry.
