My role focuses on continuously improving GIS systems, workflows, and processes while supporting the long-term planning and management of projects. This includes using data analysis, scenario planning, and contingency strategies to anticipate future needs, identify potential challenges, improve efficiencies, and ensure the GIS team is positioned to effectively support ORC’s continued growth.

 I began my career with ORC as a Help Desk Technician. With a background in GIS, ORC identified an opportunity to establish GIS capabilities within the organization while continuing to fulfill my Help Desk responsibilities. As the demand for GIS services steadily increased, I transitioned into a dedicated GIS Technician role. Since then, the GIS department has experienced significant growth, both in the volume and complexity of requests, creating the need for additional GIS staff to support the organization’s expanding needs.
