Utilities Right of Way Project Manager
What I do at O.R. Colan Associates (ORC)
Utilities Right of Way Project Manager - I oversee the acquisition and management of land rights needed for utility infrastructure and distribution projects. I lead and support a team of ROW professionals, keeping everyone aligned and making sure our work is completed efficiently, consistently, and in line with the client’s expectations, standards, and project requirements.
Why O.R. Colan Associates (ORC)
ORC is a great place to work. The company truly values its people, recognizes hard work and dedication, and encourages a healthy work-life balance. I really appreciate being part of an environment where employees feel supported and their contributions are recognized.
Who am I?
I spent many years in real estate, so transitioning into right of way felt like a natural next step. I started my ROW career as an agent with a smaller company before joining ORC. After about two and a half years working as an agent and mentor, I moved into an Assistant Project Manager role, and about six months later transitioned into my current role as a Project Manager. Having that hands-on experience has been incredibly valuable because understanding the research and day-to-day work of an agent gives me a better perspective on what my team needs and helps me lead projects more effectively.
